Last month saw the annual celebration of National Apprenticeship Week, which celebrates apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
North East Chamber of Commerce used this week to launch their Apprenticeships Greats book, which celebrates the greatest 200 apprenticeships and also marks the organisation’s 200th anniversary celebrations.
The book tells the stories of some of the North East’s most successful and best-known business brains who started out themselves as apprentices and features our Managing Director, Derek Scott, who himself completed an Electronic Engineering Apprenticeship.
